This is for a software package that is a health information solution that will change the face of healthcare as we know it by addressing the key issue of workflow - the process of moving patients, resources and information throughout the healthcare continuum. This package has been designed to specifically and comprehensively address the needs of the clinician, the patient and the healthcare administrator through improved workflow.

Software Engineer – requires professional experience developing commercial or enterprise-scale software products. This position requires significant experience with multiple DBMS systems (Microsoft SQL Server mandatory, Oracle a plus). The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work with multiple teams to establish and monitor best practices in database design and development. The development environment is global, multi-site.

The development is done in teams utilizing leading edge technology and approach. This position provides the stability of a solid company with a well thought out direction as well as the flexibility of an Agile development environment utilizing the latest technologies.

Required Skills:

#1: Software Engineer Staff

· 5+ years Professional experience developing commercial or enterprise-scale software products.
· 3+ years Java and J2EE (EJB, Servlets, and JSP) experience
· XP, Agile development experience is preferred
· Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred
· Exposure to multiple DBMS systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
· Understands concepts of the software development lifecycle
· Ability to function as a designer, developer, tester and to some degree, an analyst
· Must possess strong organization and communication skills
· Must exhibit a sense of and demonstrate responsibility, focus on delivery, and ability to work independently with appropriate technical direction
· Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Strong written and verbal skills from both business and technical perspectives
· C++ and VB on a Microsoft Windows platform a plus

#2: Software Engineer, Sr. Staff

· 8+ years Professional experience developing commercial or enterprise-scale software products.
· 5+ years Java and J2EE (EJB, Servlets, and JSP) experience
· XP, Agile development experience is preferred
· Healthcare domain knowledge is preferred
· Exposure to multiple DBMS systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle).
· Understands concepts of the software development lifecycle
· Ability to function as a designer, developer, tester and to some degree, an analyst
· Must possess strong organization and communication skills
· Must exhibit a sense of and demonstrate responsibility, focus on delivery, and ability to work independently with appropriate technical direction

#3:Software Engineer, Sr

· 5+ years Java and J2EE (EJB, Servlets, and JSP) experience
· Experience with Java based complex software testing and troubleshooting
· Experience with LoadRunner or other industry standard performance testing tools
· Knowledge of healthcare standards
· Strong organization and communication skills
· Must exhibit a sense of and demonstrate responsibility, focus on delivery, and ability to work independently with appropriate technical direction.
